Doctor Who "The End of The World"

Season 1, Episode 2

On their first voyage, the Doctor takes Rose to a space station, several billion years into the future. So she can witness the Earth's remaining hours in person. Slightly distraught by this news, the Doctor attempts to put her grief at ease by explaining that all life on Earth had moved on to become integrated into other planets societies through out the Solar System. He further explained that the Earth's destruction is the result of the Sun's expansion. In addition to this he enhances her wireless phone so that she can hear her Mother's voice (the enhancement phone plays a small but significant role in future episodes).

While on the Space Station Rose gets the chance to meet several unique alien species, who she learns have come to pay their respects and to witness the Earths final hours.
However, It isn't long before their visit becomes a struggle against time as the Doctor soon realizes someone aboard is sabotaging the Station and murdering the quests, all for his or her own profit. The Doctor quickly finds himself running out of time when he learns that Rose has been sealed in a room that is quickly reaching critical temperatures.
